Packages
This is the third party road test (driving test) in order to obtain a license authorized by the DPS with an included pre-lesson right before to review what students will be tested on. This pre-lesson builds confidence for the test and helps the chances of passing the first time! This is a favorite among our clients.

Driver must be at least 16 on the day of the driving test

Teens must hold their permit for at least 6 months (18+ is excluded from this rule)

Use your own car or use the school’s car (+$25 payment due at service)

Midlothian (Most Mondays-Saturdays)

Whitesboro (2 selected days per month)

You will need to enroll in the service, create an account, select an appointment time, pay a $25 non-refundable deposit, and then pay the full amount before your road test unless you are paying cash.

Students who completed an online class like Improv or Aceable or any in-person teen drivers ed class may take a third party road test with us.

On average, it takes approximately 3-8 business days to be able to print the temporary paper license. The hard copy license will be mailed and usually arrives in 2-3 weeks, but can sometimes take longer. Please note that AC Driving school may not issue you a license.

We are able to scan with the paper copy of a permit. However, you cannot access the printable license without the hard copy.

If you decide you would like for AC Driving School to scan and submit your documents, you must meet the following requirements:
• You must be a U.S. citizen.
• You must have a valid Social Security card.
• You must not have had your driver’s license suspended or revoked.
• You must not have an active road test transaction already started with DPS.
• You must not have a Texas Identification Card that has not been turned over to DPS.
• You must not have taken a road test attempt with DPS.
• You must not have any medical conditions.

What to bring to your Road Test
Ages 16-18 :

Valid Learner License (Permit)

Driver's Education Certificate (DE-964) or Parent Taught Certificate (PT-964) properly completed (This document will say "For Driver License Only" at the top.)

30-Hour Parent Driving Log

Impact Texas Teen Driver Certificate (ITTD)

Parents must be present during Teen Drivers Ed student tests

Every applicant must provide all documents properly completed and printed.
