We offer a state-approved online driver's education course that is designed in-house to be affordable, engaging, and easy to follow, providing students with the knowledge and confidence they need to earn their learner's permit and become safe drivers. Built on TeachSafe’s own learning platform, the courses offer a seamless experience across any device, allowing students to progress at their own pace, test their understanding, and review material anytime. We continuously improve both our curriculum and technology to ensure students benefit from the latest innovations in online education and receive effective support throughout their learning journey.

This is the 24-hour parent-taught online drivers ed course

Parent provides the required in-car instruction

Self-paced lessons and interactive content

Includes the online permit knowledge test

For eligible students ages 14 and older
You will need to review the TDLR Parent-Taught Driver Education Guide or visit their website for eligibility and pay the mandatory $20 for the PTDE Guide from TDLR to become a Parent Taught Instructor. The online class must be completed within 90 days of beginning. The daily limit for the teen parent-taught class is 6 hours.

This online parent-taught teen self-paced online course comes with 2 driving hours with a licensed instructor at AC Driving School in our vehicle. Drop off and pick up are at our office. All clients must have a permit or license in order to drive.

This option is only available at our Midlothian branch.
