Teen Packages: Class and Driving

We offer the in-class and the behind the wheel Driver's Education which includes 24 hours in the classroom and 14 hours in the car (7 behind the wheel and 7 observing other students). Our classes are engaging and incorporate fun activities and rich discussions! We are also trained to work with students with any learning style or learning need.

Note: Students aged 18-19 can take a teen course. This is sometimes recommended for students who have no significant experience behind the wheel or students who have some type of special learning need.

Parent Taught: Class and Driving

We now offer a phenomenal course for teens through IMPROV. This state-approved online course is designed specifically for first-time adult drivers who want a flexible, engaging, and effective way to learn essential driving skills. Drive Only Instruction

In the Drive Only option, a student should have completed all 24 hours of the online portion before signing up for the Drive Only Driver's Education. We will need the completed For Driver's License Only 964 form from the online course and we will then issue another 964 For Driver's Only certificate to show the driving hours. Both the 964 form For Driver's License Only docs will be needed at DPS Road Test time.

Another option is to keep all instruction under your Parent Taught program and only contract with AC Driving to complete your 14 hour package of driving/observation hours.

REMEMBER: The 30 Hour Behind the Wheel Log can only be started once the 14 hours of Driver's Education by the school is completed.
